About Us
Starting with three
patients the first year, we have assisted more than 1700 cancer patients
since the inception of our organization in 1994.
And, we have disbursed over 1.25 million dollars
throughout Cape May County to help cancer patients with
their ancillary expenses. Whether
it's a need for gas, tolls,
childcare, or a mortgage payment . . . the list of expenses is never
ending. Through the generosity of our supporters, this fund has
experienced a tremendous
growth because people like you care about others.
It's a true testament to the volunteers and
contributors, that the Love of
Linda Cancer Fund has had a positive impact on the lives of
Cape May
County cancer patients. On behalf of our patients, we offer a
sincere thank you.
The Love of Linda Cancer Fund is supported by
planned fundraising activities throughout the
year. You may have purchased mums or
decorated pumpkins at the annual Seafarer's
Weekend Festival,
attended one of our
spaghetti dinners, or danced to the sounds of
the Sensational Soul Cruisers at our annual
Beef 'N Beer.
If you are a golf
enthusiast, you may have
participated in one or more of the fifteen
Love
of Linda Cancer
Fund Memorial Golf
Tournaments held at the Avalon
Country Club.
In addition to the "Love of Linda" fundraisers,
various other organizations and office co-
workers have raised money on our behalf.
